How much does concrete cutting cost?

Pricing depends on cut depth, length, access, surface type, and site conditions (rebar, post-tension, utilities). The fastest way to get accurate pricing is a quick call or photos of the area to be cut.

How much does core drilling cost?

Core drilling is typically priced by hole diameter, depth/thickness, quantity, and access. Reinforced concrete and overhead drilling can change production speed and cost.

Can you cut or core through rebar?

Yes. Rebar is common. We use the correct blades/bits and adjust method as needed. If heavy reinforcement is present, it can take longer and affect pricing.

Do you work on post-tension slabs?

Yes, but post-tension requires extra caution. If there’s any chance the slab is post-tensioned, we need confirmation (plans, scan, or GC verification) before cutting.

Do I need permits for concrete cutting?

Sometimes. It depends on the city, scope, and whether the work impacts public sidewalks/streets or structural elements. If your GC already pulled permits, you’re usually covered.

Do you control dust and slurry?

Yes. We can use water-fed cutting, vacuums, slurry containment, and cleanup depending on the jobsite requirements. Tell us the site constraints and we’ll match the setup.

How long does concrete cutting or core drilling take?

It depends on access, thickness, reinforcement, and prep (layout, protection, containment). Many small jobs can be completed same-day. Larger or structural work may take longer.

What do you need from me to give a fast estimate?

Send (1) address/city, (2) photos, (3) approximate thickness if known, and (4) what the cut/opening is for. If it’s core drilling, include hole diameter and quantity.

Do you do emergency or after-hours work?

Yes. Nights/weekends are available when scheduling allows and may include an after-hours fee.
